The Logistics Lead position involves checking and verifying the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting tires for customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Distribution of tasks including general warehousing delivery service vehicle maintenance routing delegating in a dispatch like format to Logistics Specialists.
- Loading unloading inspecting and tallying tires to and from transport vehicles trailer trucks box trucks delivery vans completing tasks related to customer service warehouse duties checking verifying with respect to the accuracy of selecting packing weighing marking and counting tires for customer orders ensuring they are in assigned staging areas according to bin locator system while following TireHub safety standards operating order pickers forklifts pallet jacks delivery vehicles other equipment in execution duties ensures safety guidelines met operating equipment participates cycle counting tallying marking on inventory control documents including annual physical inventories leads oversees proper unloading loading palletizing stacking tires ensuring safety guidelines met collects payments customers COD transactions ensures vehicles remain clean good mechanicalphysical condition conducts pre post trip vehicle inspections daily immediately reports operational issues mechanical defects Leader designated person reports necessary driver vehicle maintenance logs regular basis maintains compliance all TireHub policies procedures Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration FMCSA participates ongoing training class in person computer based learning modules assigned completes other tasks assigned Leader another member leadership.
