    MedSurg RN, Nights - Northside

    The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle. This includes operational issues during their shift.

    This key position requires exceptional leadership skills and provides clinical care as needed when census demands.

    • Coordinates patient care and departmental operations
    • Provides guidance and assistance to staff members

    Clinical Responsibilities:

    1. BLS Certification Required Bachelors Degree Preferred Work Experience1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting Required 2 years or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting Preferred Licenses and CertificationsRegistered Nurse licensure in Georgia Multistate Licensure Advanced certification if applicable ACLS PALS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification NRP AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program PEARS
      Basic Life SupportCertification is required upon hire

      Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff Performs tasks that require occasional exposure to hazardous materials
