    Travel Surgical & Endoscopy Tech | Arcata, CA
    Looking for a contract where you can utilize your full procedural skillset? This assignment in the heart of the Redwoods requires a versatile tech capable of scrubbing into both standard surgical cases and specialized Endoscopy/GI procedures.

    Financial Breakdown (Weekly)
    Taxable Pay: $560.00

    Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,477.00

    Total Gross Weekly: $2,037.00

    Assignment Overview
    Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: ASAP

    Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 Hours Guaranteed

    Call: Shared call (Evenings & Weekends).

    Holidays: 40-hour guarantee applies except for Memorial Day and Independence Day weeks.

    Location: Arcata, CA (Mad River Community Hospital)

    Role Highlights
    Dual-Modality Scrub: Perform as a primary scrub for a variety of surgical specialties and lead the technical setup for Endoscopy/GI cases.

    GI Expertise: Assist physicians during colonoscopies, EGDs, and other endoscopic procedures, including specimen collection and equipment management.

    Sterile Processing: Maintain strict aseptic techniques and oversee the sterilization and terminal cleaning of specialized scopes and surgical instruments.

    Call Readiness: Provide rapid-response coverage for emergency surgical and GI cases during on-call rotations.

    Mandatory Requirements
    Experience: Verifiable experience as both a Surgical Tech and an Endoscopy/GI Tech is required.

    Certification: National Surgical Tech Certification (CST or TS-C).

    Health & Safety: Current BLS and proof of a negative TB clearance are required prior to start.

    Compliance: Must be comfortable working in a small, for-profit community hospital environment.
