We are looking to recruit an SQC/SPC Champion for a global composite materials manufacturer based on their Greenville, Texas site. As an SQC/SPC Champion you will become part of a new global team to develop and deliver Statistical Quality Control and Statistical Process Control systems across multiple manufacturing sites. You will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling KC's and KPP's through deploying technical systems and establishing Quality performance management, as well as developing process capability and leading continuous improvement projects.

To be considered for this position as an SQC/SPC Champion you will be BS educated in Engineering or closely related subject, as well as having previous significant industrial experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment across composites, materials, polymers or chemical manufacturing industries. You will also have a Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).

Basic salary: $90,000 - $150,000 - compensation package will be dependant on a variety of factors relating to the applicant.

Role responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems for multiple manufacturing sites.
• Monitor and control Key Characteristics (KC's) and Key Process Parameters (KPP's) through establishing Quality performance management.
• Actively liaise with customers and global colleagues to assess and manage changes that could negatively impact quality risk levels.
• Coordinate, provide and schedule training in statistical process control and statistical quality control subjects for site personnel.
• Improve customer satisfaction, product capability and process capability.

Role requirements

• BS educated as a minimum in an engineering discipline (mechanical, materials, polymer, chemical engineering preferred).
• Statistical process control/Statistical quality control experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Must possess a good working background of continuous improvement, with a Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
• Previous experience in managing customer relationships is highly desirable.
• A good working knowledge of composites materials, polymers or adhesives would be highly desirable but not essential.
