    About Us:

    123 Baby Talks Developmental Services, LLC is a dedicated center-based Early Intervention program committed to providing the highest quality care to children with developmental delays and disabilities. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals works collaboratively to create individualized treatment plans that address each child's unique needs.

    We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children, their families, and other therapists to promote the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations: Administer standardized assessments and clinical observations to identify children's strengths and challenges in areas such as fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans: Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address each child's specific needs and goals.
    • Provide direct therapy services: Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions that utilize play-based activities, adaptive equipment, and sensory integration techniques to improve children's functional abilities and independence.
    • Collaborate with families: Establish strong partnerships with families to provide education, support, and guidance on implementing therapeutic strategies at home and in the community.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings: Work collaboratively with other therapists, including Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and ABA Therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each child.
    • Maintain accurate documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
    • Stay current on best practices: Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities to stay abreast of current research and trends in occupational therapy.
    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Valid NYS Occupational Therapist license: Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice occupational therapy in New York State.
    • Pediatric experience: Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, families, and other professionals.
    • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with children and families.
    • Patient-focused approach: Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized care that meets the unique needs of each child.
