Who you are
A top-tier
Bookkeeper/Accountant, proficient in QuickBooks Online to handle our day-to-day accounting and financial activities
.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
We are looking for someone in a similar role but looking for a home-based/remote opportunity and comfortable working Eastern standard business hours, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM EST.
Compensation:
A competitive salary based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately record financial transactions into QuickBooks Online
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly
Generate and analyze financial reports using QuickBooks Online
Provide regular financial reports to management
Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate and relevant
Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings
Support the team in ad-hoc projects and tasks
Requirements:
Bachelors in
Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of
Bookkeeper or Accountant
experience, preferably in a CPA or financial advisory firm
Experience in QuickBooks Online is essential
Strong understanding of US accounting principles and regulations
Were a fully remote team with team members located in the US, Puerto Rico, and South Africa
Work from wherever you have access to a fast internet connection
