- Current Paramedic registration with the National Registry of EMT's
- Current Paramedic certification with the Washington Department of Health
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current state-issued driver's license with a good driving record
- Offer quality patient care outside the hospital, including assessing illness/injury, providing emergency care, and transportation for emergent and non-emergent cases
- Operate ambulance safely in all weather conditions
- Respond to medical emergencies following operational guidelines and medical control
- Provide training and guidance to EMT staff
- Work in a hospital or clinic as necessary

East Adams Rural Healthcare, a growing critical access hospital, provides various services including an emergency department, primary care physicians, physical therapy, and radiology services such as MRI.
