    Talent Acquisition Specialist/Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter/Early Career)

    We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

    Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

    Job Summary

    Talent Acquisition leads the effort to recruit top talent with a keen focus on diversity. Our Student Employment team achieves its' goals by establishing trusted partnerships with hiring leaders, students, and a network of colleges and universities.

    Dominion Energy hires over 250 interns annually and the Talent Acquisition team is actively looking to hire an individual to join our Student Employment team.

    The successful hire will be responsible for a combination of full life cycle intern recruiting, sourcing and campus recruiting activities.

    Primary tasks include:
    • Partner closely with Intern Program Coordinator to deliver a high caliber student employment program.
    • Work with business unit leadership to understand their staffing needs and internship requirements for the summer session and provide regular verbal and written progress updates.
    • Ensure that all recruitment and selection efforts are consistent with all relevant policies and are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Ensure recruiting process attracts and retains high potential diverse intern candidates
    • Utilize electronic databases and other sourcing channels to source for candidates, such as Handshake and other platforms.
    • Promote an employer brand in a positive and professional manner.
    • Responsible for sourcing strategies and campus recruitment
    • Conduct outreach to universities and colleges to develop an appropriate qualified and diverse candidate pool of applicants for internships.
    • May assist with weekly reports of intern data to show progress of intern candidates as they advance through the recruiting process.
    • Proactively communicate with interns by providing information and answering internship questions.
    • Maintain accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
    • May assist with intern sessions for summer interns.
    • Stay informed of current practices related to recruiting and staffing.
    • Assists with TA, Student Employment and company-wide initiatives or projects, as needed
    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience, which includes campus recruiting, full life cycle recruiting and/or sourcing experience. Note: A master's degree will count as one year towards experience. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.
    • Solid understanding of recruiting techniques, HR hiring policies and procedures, and applicable regulations
    • Experience with data tracking & analysis, preparing status reports and reporting out on metrics
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to interact and communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders both inside and outside of the company
    • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
    • Possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient with MS Office with strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
    • Proficient with managing data in Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Proven ability to utilize social media to source candidates
    • Demonstrated proficiency with digital sourcing tools such as Handshake
    Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, which includes campus recruiting, full life cycle recruiting and/or sourcing experience. Note: A master's degree will count as one year towards experience. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.
    • Solid understanding of recruiting techniques, HR hiring policies and procedures, and applicable regulations

    Note: This position will require travel up to 25% with most travel being day trips and occurring primarily during the fall and spring college recruiting seasons.

    Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

    Education Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.

    All majors will be considered but preferred disciplines include; Business, Communications or Marketing, Human Resources or Liberal Arts.
