- Supervise and oversee billing specialists' duties to ensure team goals are met
- Schedule and coordinate specialists request for time off
- Processes daily invoicing into tracking/reporting system
- Billing customer freight charges
- Process invoices to customers via customer portals
- Researches and adjusts invoice discrepancies
- Maintains customer records and responds to general inquiries
- Compiles documentation and verifies pricing accuracy
- Research and resolve customer billing issues
- Performs miscellaneous billing duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of experience in area of responsibility
- 1+ years of experience as a lead or supervisor
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- During month-end close, may require some overtime
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and reporting of financial data

Summary of Responsibilities
The Billing Associate lead will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the billing specialists' duties to ensure team goals are met. Ensures the calculation of accurate billable charges and prepares final invoices. Conducts the on-going review of bill processing procedures, and seeks opportunities to make cost-effective improvements.
