- Bachelors degree in special education or Masters/Doctoral degree in Special Education/ Teaching Students with Special Needs
- Must hold a valid Colorado Teaching Certificate with special education endorsement.???????
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, guardians, and other members of the educational team.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, assistive techniques, and accommodations to support student learning.
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers to promote the inclusion of students with special needs in the general education setting.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroomenvironment that celebrates diversity and promotes acceptance and understanding among all students.
