This food production facility in Illinois is looking to direct hire a bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Manager to be based in Bridgeview and oversee the facility along with Bedford Park and Oaklawn facilities.

Hours:
first shift (100% on-site)

Pay:
up to $85K annually (depending upon experience and quality of the interview process) plus a 10% annual bonus

Relocation is not offered for this opportunity

Job Summary:
Manage safety responsibilities for multiple Stampede facilities including Bedford Park, Oaklawn, and Bridgeview.

Responsibilities include overseeing safety associates, managing safety protocols, organizing annual training, developing safety plans, evaluating positions for SOP creation, conducting daily safety checks, handling accident reports, managing regulatory compliance, coordinating safety committee activities, and performing other duties as needed.

Additionally, negotiate and maintain contracts for facility management services and coordinate annual or bi-annual testing and inspections.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, OSHA Certification preferred, with at least two years of related experience. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required (read, speak, and write).

Skills:
Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and Internet software. CPR/First Aid Certification required. Strong customer service and communication skills.

Physical Demands:
Regularly requires sitting and keyboard use, occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are needed.

Work Environment:
Moderate noise level.
