- Overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls.
- Assists the care plan team as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON), with the preparation, implementation, and review and updating of resident assessments and care plans.
- Gives and receives shift reports.
- Rounds periodically throughout shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident's condition.
- Schedules and assigns residents to all nursing attendants during your shift and on your units; giving each attendant specific directive as to the duties to be performed
- Follow- up on their work assignments to assure proper completion

Currently, Laurel Crest Retirement Community has a wonderful opportunity for LPN Staff/Charge Nurse that is looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. We have a great Staff to Resident ratio. This is a PRN position on the 7p-7a shift every other weekend.
The LPN Staff/Charge Nurse responsibilities are:
Valid SC Nursing license
CPR certification
Preferred Experience:
Long term care or senior living environment.
Electronic medical records documentation.
