    Requisition Summary

    PACCAR is seeking a Retail Manager to support our Owner/Operator Sales sector of the business in the West Region. PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.

    Job Functions / Responsibilities

    • Services and manages all pricing and sales aspects of dealer relationships for new business volume on New and Used Owner Operator truck transactions.
    • Reviews and negotiates financing to maximize volume, market share, and spread within acceptable credit risk parameters.
    • Reviews all uncashed credit commitments with dealer personnel and PFC Management.
    • Monitors and ensures all credit commitments are followed up within a timely manner to optimize cashing ratios.
    • Develops innovative marketing strategies to drive owner operator business at high volume dealers.
    • Tracks monthly sales performance by dealer and provides sales reporting to Dealer and PFC Management.
    • Requires a minimum of quarterly visits to all high volume owner operator dealer groups to foster relationships.
    • Weekly/monthly reviews and updates of current PFC marketing programs with dealer personnel.
    • Assists with sales support for District Sales Managers in the field.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • One to three years sales and credit experience required, commercial (heavy equipment) truck financing preferred.
    • Driven for results, sales and service-oriented; self- starter with a sense of urgency, focused on follow-up and closing transactions.
    • Strong Relationship-building skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent negotiating abilities.
    • Proficient planning, organization, and decision-making aptitude.
    • PC skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

    Education

    • BS degree in finance, business or related field required.
    • MBA desired

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Retail Manager job is $96,700 - $151,300 annually. This position is also eligible for annual incentive bonus compensation with a target of 10% of base pay. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
