    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

    Location: Union City, CA

    Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Union City, CA. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments and therapy services to students with speech and language disorders in a school setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' communication skills and academic success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs and goals
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, both individually and in group settings
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals and academic progress
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' individualized education plans

    Educational Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

    Certifications:

    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
    • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders
    • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
