    As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Salesforce Administrator to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our Salesforce platform to drive business success.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce system configurations.
    Develop a deep understanding of our business model, clientele, and industry to facilitate system optimization.

    Document Salesforce business processes, system configurations, and user best practices into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Manage data imports and exports between Salesforce and external systems, ensuring data integrity.

    Conduct regular data assessments and cleanups to maintain data accuracy.
    Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and custom views to support users and drive sales and marketing success.
    Address user-reported issues, including password resets, multi-factor authentication (MFA) problems, and process inquiries.
    Provide Salesforce training to users, ensuring efficient system utilization and adherence to best practices.
    Maintain and update picklist fields, validation rules, and other system configurations.
    Utilize declarative tools such as Flow and Formula Fields to customize Salesforce functionality.
    Administer user setup, profiles, roles, and permissions to uphold data security standards.
    Configure and manage custom objects, fields, validation rules, and record types.
    Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    Stay current on Salesforce updates and features, integrating relevant enhancements into the system.
    Customize Lightning and Classic Page Layouts based on business unit requirements.
    Collaborate with third-party resources for larger projects, including consultants and IT partners.
    Explore additional technology functions as the role evolves.


    Requirements & Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
    Minimum 2 years of practical experience in database administration, development, and design.
    Salesforce Certification in Administrator and Platform App Builder, or ability to obtain within 6 months of onboarding.
    Strong understanding of IT principles, systems testing, IT security, and emerging technologies.
    Proficiency in MS Excel.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Some overnight travel will be required, likely not to exceed 3-5 nights per quarter, participating in:Quarterly meetingsTrips to manufacturer partners' facilities for training and educationTrips to our DFW or Houston offices to train with teammates as needed.

    Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX.
