We are currently looking for a Phlebotomist to operate in a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this position, you will deliver outstanding customer service, conduct expert specimen collections, and represent the company. Moreover, you will have opportunities for ongoing development within the organization

Work Schedule: This is a flexible/PRN role; hours will be on demand but typically ranging from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The position will be situated in the Philadelphia area but may involve travel to other sites in the region. This is a non-benefited role. The hours and location might vary based on business needs or management requests

Work Location: Philadelphia, PA

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups
Gather specimens for various tests like drug screens, DNA tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Input patient data accurately and promptly
Handle billing details and process payments as necessary
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
Provide excellent customer service to all patients
Perform administrative and clerical tasks when required
Travel to different sites as needed

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or its equivalent
Preferably hold a phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization
Prior experience in phlebotomy
Demonstrated excellence in customer service

Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously or in a team setting
Comfortable with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if relevant
Flexibility to work overtime when needed
Pass a standardized color blindness test
