    Description
    An employer is looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Murfreesboro, TN. Onsite M-F 7-4 PM. Position is a dual role as a project manager and engineer hands on the floor.

    Day to day will be 30% in office on the computer designing machines in Inventor CAD 3D and 70% on the floor solving quality issues, debugging/troubleshooting machines, etc.

    This person will be troubleshooting hydraulics. Will have overall projects that they are responsible throughout the year and day to day production goals. Time management/prioritization is important.

    Will also be responsible for rearrangement of layout of the building for new processes/machines that are being transitioned to production.

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering specifically5+ years of hands on mechanical engineering experience - must come from a manufacturing backgroundNeed experience drawing in AutoCAD 3D (ex. Solidworks, Inventor, etc.) - will be designing machines, tooling, and altering machinesBasic Excel spreadsheet experienceUnderstanding basic machine shop practices - need to be good with being hands onUnderstanding of FMEA's and APQPBasic understanding of PLC's, HMI's compressed air logic, or hydraulicsMust have strong written/verbal communication skills - comfortable communicating at all levels
