Role Summary

Join us as a Web 3D Development Engineer at Flexcompute Inc. and contribute significantly to shaping the 3D visualization/geometry editor for our simulation software applications. Engage in architectural design, product optimization, and advancing the implementation of cutting-edge 3D technology.

You will be a pivotal team member collaborating closely with our R&D team to introduce new features, enhance user experience, and ensure top-notch quality standards. Your efforts will propel the growth and success of Flexcompute Inc. as a leader in solver technology.

Duties

• Create interactive 3D visualization tools for our simulation software
• Collaborate on implementing new features and optimizing performance
• Develop and maintain frontend frameworks for efficient development
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and 3D visualizations' responsiveness
• Work with UI/UX designers to create intuitive interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities
• Keep abreast of web development trends and technologies

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Expertise in 3D and 2D computer graphics rendering, shader usage across the pipeline
3. Proficient in Canvas-related visualization technology, adept at ThreeJs/WebGL API customization
4. Familiarity with enhancing rendering effects, model loading, and display performance
5. Thorough understanding of 3D graphics and image foundations, e.g., UV, shaders, materials
6. 5+ years of work experience, 3+ years in graphics development; candidates exceeding criteria will be considered; Proficiency in UI/UX and user-centered design
7. Strong frontend tech foundation in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and common frameworks
8. Solid grounding in computer science and networking
9. Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
10. Adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advantageous if experienced in self-developed visualization engines
• Extensive Angular or React experience
• Strong business abstraction and architectural design acumen
