    As an Advanced Data Scientist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical insight and acting as the subject matter expert in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis projects.

    You will work closely with leadership to translate business needs into data science solutions. You will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

    In this role, you will impact the organization by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and advanced analytics to turn data into actionable intelligence that propels the business forward.


    THE BUSINESS UNIT

    The Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) at Honeywell is a division focused on corporate-level functions and initiatives that support the overall operations and strategy of the company.

    It is responsible for overseeing areas such as finance, legal, human resources, communications, and corporate governance, working closely with other business units and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization.

    The CORP SBG plays a crucial role in the overall strategic direction and management of Honeywell's corporate functions and operations, supporting the company's business objectives.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Apply expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis to develop and implement advanced algorithms and analytical solutions
    Manage end-to-end data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the successful delivery of actionable insights
    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture
    Contribute to the strategic vision of the Data Science team, providing input on initiatives that align with business objectives
    Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and generate valuable insights

    YOU MUST HAVE
    5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on leading complex projects and delivering impactful solutions
    Mastery experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis
    Strong project management and organizational abilities
    Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    WE VALUE
    Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
    Experience in leading and ownership of complex data projects
    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
    Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the overall direction of the Data Science team
