- Material handling experience strongly preferred
- Having demonstrated experience and working knowledge of inventory controls, operating warehouse equipment and familiarity with internal warehouse layout and flow.
- Assist in the day to day safety of all employees and safety controls
- Maintain and update CMMS software
- Provide technical support for all phases of equipment and system validation
- Reviews electrical drawings associated with new equipment procurement
- Routine maintenance of production equipment and improve the production process thru working directly with production teams to overcome obstacles
- Assists engineering personnel with the development of project specifications for new equipment
- Acts as a technical liaison to contractor personnel who are performing activities onsite
- Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment
- Uses blueprints and/or design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product
- Preventive and predicative maintenance driven
- High school diploma
- 2 years of verifiable work experience required
- Factory experience strongly preferred
- Journeyman status or 5-10 years experience
- PLC experience required
- Factory experience a plus
- CMMS Software experience preferred
- Possess good communication skills
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills, as well as machining expertise to build and modify fixtures, machines and related equipment
- Ability to use precision measurement instruments, use basic math, trig, and geometry skills
- Interprets machining programs, tool layouts, encoded instructions and blueprints as necessary to operate machines
- Demonstrates the ability to develop and execute plans
- Must have minimum of basic in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and be able to handle email.
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, and move arms and hands freely
- Ability to stand for most of an 8-hour shift
- Overtime may be required to meet business demand - this may include working extended shifts and/or weekend work
