The Lansing Community College Technical Careers Division, led by exceptional faculty in over 30 program areas, is seeking individuals who possess strong knowledge and skills in their field and have a passion to share their expertise with tomorrow's emerging workforce.

Selected faculty members will be responsible for instruction of classes in the Criminal Justice program and will be able to teach courses in the Law Enforcement Track, Juvenile Justice track, and or the Adult Corrections Track.
Classes could include entry level courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Juvenile Justice, or Introduction to Corrections.
Courses could also include second year classes to include Criminal Investigations, Report Writing, or working with students to complete Internships, to name a few.
Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or in a related/relevant field.
Five (5) years minimum experience in the professional field
IMPORTANT:
If an educational degree is required for this position, unofficial copies of transcripts from each institution of higher learning where either a degree has been conferred or coursework completed are required documents that must be submitted as part of the online application process.
Applicants with foreign education credentials (i.e.earned degree and related to this position) must contact a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) credential evaluation services ) and request an academic transcript evaluation.
Three of NACES member credential evaluation services are:
Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. ) ; World Education Services, ) ; International Education Research Foundation, Inc. ). The credential evaluation must be submitted with the application materials.
Coursework information, if applicable, must be added as an attachment under Additional Attachments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Criminal Justice of in a related/relevant field.
Juris Doctorate Degree with good standing with the Michigan Bar Association.
Ten (10) plus years as an MCOLES certified Law Enforcement Officer with Command experience
