    Are you ready to shift into the next gear of your career? As an Account Manager within Inalfa you are in the driver's seat for maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned accounts. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue growth. This role involves understanding client needs, collaborating with internal teams, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Successful support and administration of product applications, Request for Quotation's (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO's) and awarding of new business
    • Assistance in interface between functions to assure timely, cost effective, related results
    • Manage customer requests in a timely resolution
    • Create sales contracts in Infor for new level parts and price changes
    • Create sales orders and Infor project orders for non-productive shipments
    • Manage requests for invoices for all tooling and special build parts; track payment status for tooling
    • Provide administration for Covisint/GM SupplyPower and other customer web portals
    • Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, reporting and other written information for internal and external distribution
    • Maintain PO log and complete reporting of pricing status via monthly Snapshot meetings
    • Establish and maintain agreed scope and statements of work
    • Coordinate account deliverables, including attending internal engineering change meetings
    • Commercial representation internally on running business
    • Manage Service Parts aftermarket business directly with the assigned OEM
    • Establish relationship with appropriate customer contacts
    • Other internal contract management, budget, and order entry duties as assigned
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibility.

    IATF 16949 RESPONSIBILITIES

    Adhere to all TS16949 procedures as related to the department function

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing is preferred. Work experience in Program Management or Account Management preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of top managers, clients, customers, and/or boards of directors.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.

    ERP Baan or Infor10 experience preferred.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Preferred knowledge of:

    Planning and quoting processes and tools

    Scope of work structure

    Gantt charts (plan for builds, longest lead part only)

    Costed Bill of Materials and margining

    Break-even/cash flow analysis

    Researching, quoting and approval of part changes
