- This is a union position onsite in Pomona or Pasadena
- Work collaboratively with a team consisting of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselors to provide valuable insight, direction, and oversight of Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) services
- Participate in a collaborative care process for clients, providing individual and group therapy
- Provide safe, supportive, and confidential counseling
- Maintain a culturally competent stance
- Create and maintain a trauma informed program environment at all times
- Conduct mental health and substance use disorder assessments and evaluations to identify behaviors and problems related to a client's substance use and potential co-occurring disorders
- Link clients with the appropriate resources to meet their physical and mental health needs REQUIREMENTS
- MFT, MSW or Ph.D./Psy/D. from regionally accredited graduate program, required Must be registered with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Sciences), licensed or license eligible
- Two years minimum clinical experience in delivering direct mental health services, desired
- Experience using evidenced-based practices and trauma-informed care, desired
- Ability to pass background/criminal check
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
