- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Enter invoice data into the accounting system and maintain organized electronic and physical records.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any outstanding balances or discrepancies.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues and improve processes.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
- 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors internal employees
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Job DescriptionLHH is assisting our Secaucus, NJ client in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a contract basis. This will be a six month contract to start, but does have potential to be extended. The role reports onsite in Secaucus five days per week.
