    The College of Liberal Arts at Black Hills State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics. A strong candidate will have experience or interest in using innovative instructional strategies involving active student participation and will be able to teach general education and developmental mathematics as well as courses in the major.

    DUTIES:
    Teach eight courses per year, several of which may be offered online
    Mentor students
    Scholarly activities
    Service

    REQUIREMENTS:
    A PhD in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or closely related field.
    ABDs will be considered on a term-contract basis, and the PhD must be completed within two years of appointment.
