    Mechanical Maintenance Level II 3rd Shift Pittman

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance professional to join our Manufacturing team within the Engine Business Segment in Rocky Mount, NC.

    In this role, you will have the chance to:
    • Utilize your work experience, intermediate level knowledge, and skills acquired through education or on-the-job training.
    • Demonstrate proficiency as an Electrician, showcasing all skills as per the skill matrix.
    • Conduct necessary repairs, prioritizing doing it right the first time while ensuring quality workmanship.
    • Provide accurate data through Maximo, including downtime, labor information, and other relevant details.
    • Participate actively in defined maintenance processes and contribute to their improvement, such as PM review/revision.
    • Engage in skill assessment audits for self and colleagues to identify skill gaps and implement enhancement plans.
    To excel in this role, you should have:
    • At least 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical issue troubleshooting.
    • A 2-year degree or equivalent education in the mechanical or electrical field, or a combination of education and experience.
    • Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical tasks related to manufacturing equipment.
    • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
    Education, Licenses, Certifications

    High school diploma or equivalent experience. Compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations might be necessary.

    This role offers a $5K signing bonus for Maintenance skill tech position. We are looking for maintenance technicians who understand that maintenance is not just a job but a career that requires continuous learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for PMs, equipment maintenance and repair, including advanced technologies and legacy equipment. They will be involved in welding, utilizing measurement tools, performing equipment alignment, disassembly, and pump and cylinder rebuilds, as well as having strong knowledge of hand tool usage. Operating within a team-oriented environment that promotes training and skill development, this role also involves mechanical and minor electrical work. An eagerness to learn PLC logic and robotics is ideal if not already acquired, along with a strong drive to expand knowledge and expertise in the field.
