Are you a Licensed Audiologist seeking a role in conducting assessments?
Do you have a passion for serving the Veteran community?
We are in need of an Audiologist to carry out medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits evaluation process.
Before meeting with you, Veterans will file their claim and their medical records will be uploaded to a computer portal for your review during the appointment. As the Audiologist, you will perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) on the computer portal, providing crucial medical evidence for the VA to determine the Veterans' benefits.
It is important to note that the Audiologist will not be involved in prescribing any medical treatments or devices.
In this role, you will be assessing an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule - 4 days/week - Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
This is an ON-SITE position offering 1 to 1.5 hours per patient, with no evening shifts, on-call duties, weekends, or involvement in hearing aid sales
