- Collaborate with school-based teams to assess students' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Implement strategies to enhance students' participation and success in the academic environment
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain accurate records of student performance
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the overall well-being of students
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices and special education regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- New graduates with a passion for working in schools are encouraged to apply
