    The Sr. Engineer in this role will
    provide project leadership and support to our innovation projects.

    This role will encompass projects such as Autonomous Guided Vehicles (Tugger, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, E-Cart etc.), Industrial Robots and Collaborative robots, system design and simulation, data analytic including Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.

    This role is to lead efforts to develop system design and simulation for automation cells for manufacturing and/or material movement.


    Key areas of manufacturing support include:
    Aluminum Foundry, Machining, Assembly, Material Handling, and Plastic injection molding.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Design automatic cell design of concept and development projects using 3-dimensional software. Brainstorm and align concept, work vendors for detailed quote and project.
    Identify technological solution and Develop concepts, select, and implement the best technology as per the business needs. Ensure selected technological project has good return on investment (ROI).
    Project Management experience of leading complex industrial automation projects including managing timeline, schedules, vendor and stakeholders communication and interactions.

    Good understanding of functionality of industrial automation, material handling and manufacturing equipment's such as AGV's, Cobot's, Robots, Automatic Conveyors, and Industrial automation.

    Collaborate and facilitate best practice sharing with all ConMet manufacturing sites and functions.
    Hands on experience in leading and managing innovative and industrial automation projects for manufacturing facilities.
    Education and Experience

    :

    4-year Degree in Engineering discipline required. Degree in Industrial Automation preferred

    Minimum 10 years or more experience in implementing innovative projects related to Industry 4.0 and Digitalization in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

    Proficient in 3-dimensional system design using Creo/Solid works for industrial automatic cells.
    Data Analytics, Critical Reasoning, Justification, Presentation & Decision-making Ability.
    Hands on Project Management Experience in leading multisite projects.
    Experience in lean manufacturing and operational excellence is preferred.
    Experience in supporting and leading improvement activities in high pace manufacturing environment running 24/7
    Hands on experience in implementing SMART factory concepts by using IoT devices
