    Description


    Midland is seeking an individual who can work collaboratively with operations management, accounting and asset management in reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting division financial statements for the purpose of identifying & recommending opportunities to improve and control costs and manage credit risk.

    Some of the key responsibilities for this role would be as follows:
    Perform trend analysis to identify underlying drivers and opportunities to reduce costs and manage credit riskAnalyze Midland's cost structure compared to other servicers in the industryParticipate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to mortgage servicing operational costs and lossesCollaborate with the asset management and acquisition department to support forecasting functions related to mortgage servicing operational costs and credit risk**This position is onsite

    offering hybrid or remote**Position Requirements:3+ years of work related experience in analytics, forecasting, and reporting

    Preferred experience in accounting related functions

    Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a 3.25 GPAProficient in MS Excel and AccessExcellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsIn-depth knowledge of reporting concepts and analysis techniquesExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skillsExperience in managing large amounts of data from various sourcesAbility to exercise discretion and judgment and make independent decisionsA strong willingness to learn, adapt, and actively contribute to the success of the organizationAbility to work independently and with inquisitivenessQualifications
