    Overview

    Join Amwins Group, Inc., where we never settle for status quo We are a group of unique individuals, committed to teamwork and collaboration, and we are looking for candidates to join our Client Services Team as a Connect Customer Service Specialist.

    Responsibilities

    • The Connect Customer Service Specialist delivers exceptional service and support to our Group Benefits division, carrier partners, and clients through a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness
    • Members of this team demonstrate excellent organizational skills, effective communication, strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and maintain a positive proactive attitude
    • Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve plan related issues
    • Process broker of record and/or agent of record changes ensuring accurate and timely completion
    • Process book of business transfer requests and ensure accurate broker, sales, and commission updates across systems
    • Contribute to process improvements by identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to help streamline workflows
    • Consistently respond to all clients in a timely and efficient manner
    • Interact with carrier partners to resolve service issues and ensure effective resolution
    • Attend all required training sessions
    • All other duties as assigned

    Necessary skills/attributes

    • Excellent phone skills
    • Strong people skills
    • Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
    • Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks efficiently
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Proficient in Excel

    Knowledge/Experience

    • Two to three years of related experience; or equivalent of education and experience
    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
    • Health insurance experience preferred
    • University degree preferred
