- You will operate gasoline or diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment.
- You will drive equipment to work site or transport required equipment via truck and trailer.
- You will conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance of assigned equipment.
- You will adjust various attachments, such as rollers, scarifiers, scoops, digging and loading bucket chains, grader blades and bulldozer blades.
- You will work on all types of terrain including flat, rolling, or hilly terrain, and construction sites with difficult and simple terrain

- May be subject to rotational work assignments for extended periodsto perform duties at various locations including but not limited to the wharfs and offshore islands.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
