    The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all functions and paperwork relating to receiving, safely loading/unloading trucks, and accurate picking/putting of product.

    Essential Competencies:
    • Responsible for examining shipment contents by comparing with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
    • Responsible for loading/unloading trucks per Best Practices.
    • Responsible for accurately and properly picking/putting product in trays.
    • Accurately place route/stop tags on trays to be loaded into trucks.
    • Responsible for date coding and pricing of products.
    • Complete required safety training on monthly basis.
    • Follow all Good Housekeeping and Best Practices; work environment must be kept clean, including mopping up spills immediately.
    • Responsible for any set up of equipment and maintain records where applicable.
    Requirements:
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must be willing to work weekends, and holidays or varied shifts when requested to support the 24/7 business.
    • Must be able to practice good teamwork and effectively communicate with CDC customers and employees.
    • Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record.
    • Good understanding of basic math skills.
    • Must be able to read and speak basic English.
    • Must meet and maintain required productivity per hour.
    Preferred Experience:
    • Previous work in a warehouse - fast paced environment.
    • Previous picking experience preferred.
    • Previous loading/unloading experience preferred.
    Physical Demands and Work Environment:
    • Ability to work in environments from 35 degrees to 75 degrees for long periods of time.
    • Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
    • Must be able to be on your feet, bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach, push, and pull for a minimum of eight hours a day.
    • Must be able to stand/walk, twist, bend, stoop, reach for frequently.
