    JOB SUMMARYIn this role, as an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems for a variety of applications.

    Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing project requirements, creating electrical control designs, programming and other control devices, and ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical components.

    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to deliver high-performance control solutions on all projects.

    JOB SCOPEResponsible for creating basic and detailed engineering documents (Control and Instrumentation diagrams, Instrument and IO lists, load list, single line diagram, block diagram, PLC design, interconnection, power distribution, cable engineering, layouts, functional specification, communication interface, etc).C reate technical specifications for electrical equipment (motor/ VFD/ transformer) and control panels (PLC/ Remote IO and local operator panels).Responsible for active execution to supply technical deliverables by providing effective co-ordination with other teams, both within the company and outside.

    Review client technical criteria and specifications part of the contract and support suitably to design product requirements.

    Together with Proposal Management and Product Engineering, responsible for defining the controls schemes and modes of operation of the machine to provide a safe and efficient operation.

    Responsible for design integrity of controls aspects on the product.
    Responsible for on-time, on budget, quality of engineering packages for individual projects.
    To work on standardization, product improvement, and development efforts of product line.

    Including but not limited to P&ID templates (in conjunction with Process, Product Engineering, PLM and Instrumentation)May work on research and development projects.

    Travel to job sites and regional offices as required in support of equipment problems, installations, and start-ups.
    May assist in development of design standards /guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures.

    Drive the development of sub-suppliers of mechanical systems (Hydraulic units, Grease units, etc.) in regards of control interfaces and standardization.

    Review and approve panel design drawings during project execution.
    Interface with Automation to ensure a common FLSmidth approach to controls solutions for all our products.

    Use and participate in the development of standard Automation solutions (design templates, programming blocks, control schemes).WHAT YOU BRINGDegree in Electrical Engineering.

    Relevant experience in the mining industry, more specifically with Separation Products.
    Proven experience leading projects in a pro-active manner to drive results.
    High degree of integrity, initiative, professionalism, and accountability.
    Ability to prioritize work, coordinate multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong interpersonal, influence and conflict resolution skills.
