- Meet the patient in the pre-op area and ensure they are prepared for surgery
- Assist the OR staff with positioning, prepping, and draping the patient before the procedure
- Provide support to surgeons specializing in various fields
- Ensure timely submission of all necessary documentation
- Be available to take calls during weeknights and weekends
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetingsQualifications
- Must be a Certified Surgical Assistant
- Willing to take on-call duties during weeknights and weekends
- Flexibility in work hours, primarily working from 7 am to 4 pm
- Experience required in OB-GYN and General surgery
- Minimum of 2 years of case logs
- Licensed in the State of Texas
- Prior experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, or Vascular surgery is preferred
