    is seeking a


    Senior Accountant -The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accounting records and transactions for multiple operating units; will be a key contributor to the financial closing processes; and will be involved in the preparation of the company's income statement and balance sheet, account analysis/reconciliations of general ledger accounts, and monthly journal entries.


    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for ensuring transactions are coded to the appropriate accounts, projects and cost
    centers in the general ledger.

    • Responsible for performing bank reconciliations and provides guidance to Accountants relating to
    accounting processes and reconciliations. Prepare and/or review monthly variance analyses.

    • Responsible for reviewing, investigating, and correcting errors and inconsistencies in general
    ledger accounts, monthly.

    • Responsible for facilitating the monthly close, including process development, preparation of general
    journal entries and accruals, reconciliation of expense and balance sheet accounts.

    • Support the Director of Accounting in the completion of special projects, ad-hoc reporting, analysis
    requests, and other tasks as assigned.


    OTHER DUTIES:

    • Performs complex journal entries and other accounting activities using in-depth conceptual and
    practical knowledge.

    • Assist in the development of financial statements including preparation of the balance sheet
    schedules, income statement, ancillary reporting, budget-to-actual reports, and prepares narrative
    explanations of financial statements.

    • Prepares and reviews complex audit and/or tax work papers.
    • Collaborate with team members to understand key customer and vendor agreements

    Education:
    Master's degree or related experience in Accounting or a related field

    Experience

    A minimum of at least 3-5 years of Accounting experience is required.
    Experience with an ERP System

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Must have reliable transportation


    Additional Information:
    Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
