    Service Manager - Ag Equipment


    Are you motivated and thrive on leading a team of qualified mechanics? We are looking for a forward-thinking individual to manage our ag equipment service department with 5 full-time technicians.

    This individual would be responsible for customer contact and overseeing the service and repair of wheel loaders, off-highway trucks, dozers, and harvest equipment.

    We have new state of the art facilities, an outstanding benefits package, and 401K.

    Diesel technology certification or equivalent, plus 5 years of work-related experience in an ag environment

    Valid driver's license; CDL preferred

    Forklift certification or ability to obtain

    Participate in budget preparation and administration, which includes coordinating purchasing, documentation, maintaining billing cycles efficiencies and expenses, and monitoring departmental expenditures

    Train and evaluate Service Dept. personnel

    Enforce company policies and procedures

    Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, the quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel, and ensure service department is productive

    Critical thinker who is able to resolve problems and make independent judgment calls

    Excellent computer and technical skills

    Excellent customer service, communication, and supervisory skills

    Excellent people skills, including the ability to handle conflict and escalating situations and ability to train others

    Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment

    Must meet all physical requirements for this position


    Must have 3-5 years managing a successful service department
