Job Description for Retail Sales Associate

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

This position will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
Assist customers in locating and selecting products based on their needs and preferences
Provide accurate and uptodate product information to customers
Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and objectives
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic math and computer skills, including the ability to operate a cash register
Strong problemsolving abilities and a customerfocused mindset
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Previous retail sales experience preferred.
Requires standing for long hours
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge and passion for footwear fashion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation details:
16-17 Hourly Wage
