A general contractor and engineering company specializing in telecommunications infrastructure is searching for a Traveling Licensed Journeyman Electrician to oversee their projects in Kentucky and Tennessee They are looking for a licensed journeyman with at least 2 years of experience performing industrial electrical work to oversee and guide apprentices both virtually and onsite, primarily in the telecommunications sector.
This is a travel-intensive, remote position based out of either Lexington, KY or Nashville, TN (a license from either state can service both) involving stays ranging from days to weeks at a time.

$32 - $42/hr DOEResponsibilities:Engage in extensive travel up to 75% of the time, primarily within Kentucky and Tennessee with durations varying from days to weeksExhibit flexibility with fluctuating travel schedules, including potential 2-week on/off rotations or some variation thereofOversee the work of 3 apprentices per site, ensuring adherence to standards and project goalsProvide hands-on instruction and guidance for new tasks and procedures to apprenticesFocus on industrial construction projects, particularly related to telecommunications towersConduct maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safetyLead virtual oversight sessions, remotely guiding and assessing the work of teams to ensure quality and progressRequirements:Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Kentucky or TennesseeA minimum of 2-3 years of experience in industrial electrical work, demonstrating a broad range of skills in electrical installations and maintenanceFlexibility and adaptability to the demands of heavy travel and project schedulesStrong leadership and teaching abilities, capable of effectively managing and instructing apprentice electricians in electrical work and safetyGood communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, management, and clientsExperience in generator or solar industry is a plusLicensed as an electrician in multiple states is a plusMust live in Lexington, KY or Nashville, TNBenefits:Medical, Dental and Vision insurance401K plan with matchLife insurance, STD/LTD80 hours PTO40 hours Sick8 paid holidays + floating holidayPotential for company vehicleGrowth opportunitiesInnovative companyApply now#LI-POST #LI-REMOTE #LI-IH1
