    Description:
    St. Peter's Health Partners is looking for RN's and Medical Assistants for our Cancer Care group based out of St. Peter's Hospital. These positions are full time, day time hours

    Benefits effective day 1 of employment

    The Registered Professional Nurse has the responsibility and accountability to utilize the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individuals or groups.

    The Registered Professional Nurse works within and contributes to an environment where the St. Peter's Healthcare Services mission is actualized, patient outcomes are achieved, and professional practice is realized.

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    Bringing patient to exam room, taking vital signs, completing referrals, reviewing prescriptions electronically, obtaining patient consent for procedures as directed by provider, performing pre-visit planning and reviews quality metrics, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment including disinfecting patient care areas and equipment.

    Qualifications include (but are not limited to): HS Diploma/equivalent, current unencumbered NYS RN license, and BLS certification


    Pay range:
    $36.50-$ Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.


    The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the duties of the position in support of the nurses and physicians in providing quality medical care.


    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    Escorting patient to exam room, taking appropriate vital signs, documenting all necessary health information into the electronic medical record, referrals, pre-authorizations, completing patient forms, and mandatory training.

    Qualifications include (but are not limited to): Graduate of a Medical Assistant Training Program,

    National Medical Assistant Certification:
    CMA, CCMA, RMA, HS Diploma or equivalency, at least 10 months' work and/or clinical training experience in the healthcare field, and proficiency in obtaining manual vital signs


    Pay Range:
