- Directs entire fabrication production workflow.
- Oversees interpretation of drawings/specifications.
- Demonstrates understanding of core welding technologies and educates team.
- Interfaces with various levels in the organization and shares information as required.
- Enforces established safety guidelines; promotes a safe workplace.
- Maintains accurate records and metrics.
- Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
- Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops fabrication staff; manages schedules and workflow.
- Personal integrity, leadership skills, and communications ability to inspire optimum performance among a diverse set of employees.
- 3+ years of fabrication supervision experience in the same or similar industry.
- Must be a certified welder.
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- High School Diploma or College Degree preferred.
- Expert level MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems skills.
- Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.

The Fabrication Manager supervises a team of welders and fabricators who work on the necessary component parts of a piping fabrication that supports the organization's production goals and objectives while meeting and/or exceeding customer expectations.
