    The

    Hardware

    Engineering Co-Op


    will prepare you with professional, in-depth training in knowledge of sensor technology, and provide you with the opportunity to hone your presentation skills through various assignments.

    What to expect as a Co-Op:

    Testing, troubleshooting, and improving designs of printed circuit assemblies & industrial automation electronic products.
    Perform design verification and functional testing, assembly of prototype PCBA, cable & assemblies, test fixtures.


    What you will be doing:


    Run predefined tests on printed circuit boards and electronicsTest measurement and functional tests per test plansTroubleshoot and fix components and circuitsSolder or replace surface mount and through-hole components on circuit boardsBuild production test fixtures and test cablesAssemble PCBA.

    Bring up and test the PCBA.Build test fixtures for functional design verification testingCreate designs for wiring and test fixturesTroubleshoot failed units from the field.

    Remove resin from products by milling them out.

    Test equipment and cabling set ups for testing or troubleshootingDocumenting and analyzing test results along with the EngineersKeeps lab and test equipment operational and up-to-date.

    Sourcing and procurement of components and kitting up the components per the bill of materials (BOM)Sort and store electronic components for lab and prototyping use.


    Who we are looking for:
    Working toward a degree in engineering or electronics technologyWell-developed analytical and strong problem solving abilities.
    Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
