    Description
    The VP of Finance is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the corporation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation, and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry

    Responsibilities:
    Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
    Control and supervise monthly financial reporting, Balanced Score Card update and variance explanations, sales and margin reporting.
    Responsible for quarterly IFRS reports to German parent company.
    Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
    Supervise and participate in the analysis of all financial aspects of the business.
    Participates in the development of the divisions plans and programs as a strategic partner with the Production Team.
    Evaluate and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.

    Develops credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist the President, the Board and other senior executives of the European parent company in performing their responsibilities.

    Identify and mitigate financial risks.
    Supports Sales and Operations in decision making process by developing and continuously improving and reporting analyses.

    Enhances and/or develops, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.

    Establishes credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

    Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and pension funds and investments.

    Optimizes the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
    Develops a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
    Ensures compliance with local tax regulations and reporting.
    Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.

    Evaluates the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.


    Requirements:
    Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field10+ years of experience in finance or accounting5+ years of experience in a leadership roleProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI

    Experience with ERP implementationPreferred:
    Sage X3 and SAP R/3 and/or SAP S4 Hana (FI/CO)IFRS Knowledge and experience in a global/international company#J-18808-Ljbffr
