Project HVAC Intern

Piedmont Service Group is a leading Energy and HVAC Services Company in the Carolinas and Virginia. Piedmont Service Group is a privately held company focused exclusively on using cutting edge technology to safely and efficiently operate and maintain buildings for commercial, industrial, institutional, and government organizations.

We are currently looking for a Project HVAC Intern to join our Team in Greensboro, NC.

Job Summary: A Project HVAC Intern is responsible for assisting the HVAC Mechanic in installation of equipment, ductwork, and associated dampers for a complete working HVAC system.

Pay Range: $16.00-$25.00 Per Hour

Project HVAC Intern is responsible for, but not limited to the following roles and responsibilities:

Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and industrial properties.
Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.
Following instructions for quality installation of HVAC equipment and associated ductwork.
Complies with company and industry safety standards.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to use power and hand tools.
Ability to follow instructions.
Excellent mechanical skills.
Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to work on HVAC units and systems.
Will be required to work in settings with extreme heat or extreme cold, depending on time of year.
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling. crawling or climbing ladders.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
