You will aid the buying team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring office efficiency. They assist in vendor relations and may handle routine reporting. Tasks may vary based on business needs. This role reports to a Senior Buyer or Buyer.

This is a part-time (20 hours/week), 5-month contract opportunity that is hybrid onsite in Bolingbrook, IL. The application deadline for this opportunity is April 26, 2024.

Merchandising Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Maintain SKUs according to buyer's directives, including shelf tags, descriptions, and pricing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong working knowledge of Excel preferred (v-look ups and formulas).
• Manage contracts, including creation, collection, and upload of signed agreements.
• Support store operations by handling communications and inquiries.
• Enter promotions into Report Manager and submit requests for new planograms. Execute marketing tasks such as sign requests and ad sample orders.
• Initiate RTV/DIF and manage store-to-DC transfers as directed by the Buyer. Assist with calendar management and scheduling brand meetings.
• Maintain accurate vendor/brand contact information.

Merchandising Coordinator Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two years of relevant retail and office/corporate experience.
• Passion for brands and product assortment development.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaborator with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
