    Marketing Manager
    Primary Responsibility
    Develop and maintain agency and insurance company relationships. Ensure appropriate applications for new and renewal business are used and are timely. Inform producers and other related personnel of company appetites and changes in underwriting. Maintain company insurance contracts. Monitor production reports. As a manager, the employee is required to uphold our company culture
    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Market new business accounts for commercial lines producers to carriers that have an appetite for that particular class of business.

    Prepare new business proposal once final quotes are received from insurance carriers.
    Meet regularly with company representatives.
    Attend company meetings when appropriate.
    Closely monitor, with President, company production reports to ensure maximum profit sharing opportunities.
    Help achieve agency production goals by keeping President informed of status of company production levels.
    Ensure policies and procedures of agency are followed by producers.
    Ensure specific policies and procedures related to companies (movement of business from) are followed.

    Work closely with Sales Manager and Sales & Marketing Coordinator and direct, as needed, different job responsibilities to Sales & Marketing Coordinator.

    Managing prospect list and marketing software.
    Additional Functions & Responsibilities

    Stay current on the insurance industry and market conditions.
    Provide updates on markets and carrier appetites in monthly sales meetings.
    Assist Producers in all locations to identify competitive markets for their clients.
    Required Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent and;
    Five years of underwriting experience or 10 years of insurance industry related experience
    Property and Casualty Insurance License
    Preferred Qualifications

    College degree desired and 5 years of broker or underwriter experience.
    Broad experience in the different areas of agency operations related to sales.
    Experience of EPIC software preferred.
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office
    Ability to learn the agency management software.
    Ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels.
    Ability to follow directions.
    High level of organizational skills.
    Ability to work independently, self-motivated and meet timed deadlines.
    Ability to follow processes and procedures set forth by the agency.
    Ability to problem solve
    Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
    Ability to work with a team.
    Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.
    Ability to build and maintain insurance carrier underwriter relationships.
