Mechanical Engineer

Job Role:
- Research, plan, design, develop, modify, and evaluate mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems in various industries.
- Apply knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and manufacturing.
- Coordinate with technical support personnel for product/process experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Work individually and as part of a team on replication and electromechanical designs.
Perform reverse engineering and create technical packages for replicated devices.
Design prototypes based on customer requirements.
Utilize test equipment for verification on devices and prototypes.
Collaborate with team members for cohesive design and integration.
Research and source components for projects.

Qualifications Required:

BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Proficiency in CAD modeling software e.g., Solidworks, Creo, or Fusion 360.
Experience with aircraft systems and hand tools.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of materials used in UAV construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with RPVs and ability to design/fabricate.
Hands-on experience with fiberglass and composite materials.
