    Our HR and People's Team is seeking a self-motivated HR Coordinator who thrives in a highly diverse, dynamic, start-up environment. We seek someone who has a passion for getting things done and is committed to being a valuable resource to employees throughout the organization.     The ideal candidate has an amazing work ethic, knows that follow-thru is everything, has great attention to detail, and takes ownership of their role and tasks. This role will report to our HR Director and will provide an incredible opportunity to gain experience and visibility to the full range of People Operations and Human Resources work at sbe.

    YOU WILL:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for Human Resources related inquiries. Identify, document, and clarify issues while working collaboratively with Team Members to achieve prompt resolution.
    • Handle the administration of personnel files and other applicable documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Supports the onboarding process for new hires and ensures a consistent and thorough onboarding experience for incoming employees. Participates in running orientation for new hires.
    • Assist in planning and executing company culture initiatives.
    • Help maintain company regulatory compliance regarding employment posters/notifications, audits, our company handbook, etc. Assist Recruiting, as necessary, with scheduling or other administrative tasks

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree is preferred; bonus points for a degree in Human Resources or related field; 1+ years HR-related work experience
    • Familiarity with HR systems and/or tools is a big plus sbe uses ADP
    • Solid project management skills
    • Strong analytical skills, preferably with Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with HR data and reporting preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work responsibly with sensitive and confidential information
    • Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfortable switching between working collaboratively as part of a team and working autonomously as needed.
    • An excellent sense of judgement, the ability to be "in the weeds" without losing sight of long-term goals/initiatives and a great attitude are necessary
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
