Description

• Candidate needs to be local to Atlanta unless they have had clients in the oil and gas industry, then they can be 100% remote, otherwise the role is hybrid 3 days per week in office
• Will look at public accounting experience or industry experience, targeting 3+ years
• Floater manager- opportunity to work throughout the back-office function
• Rotate through different teams- GL, Settlements, Project team, credit (all 4 different divisions) - based on project needs, no set time period
• No direct reports, but indirectly managing
• Ideal candidate- someone leaving public accounting after 3 years
• Someone out of industry needs to have 3+ years of experience
• No CPA required
• 4 weeks PTO, 2 floating holidays, great benefits
Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience
• 3+ years in public accounting, or industry experience
• Driven self-starter possessing critical thinking, problem-solving skills along with an appreciation for detail
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills combined with an ability to manage multiple on-going tasks
• Hard working, forward-thinking individual looking to further their career at a company with multiple growth opportunities
Duties & Responsibilities


• Analyze data and be comfortable with it
• Analysis work- not interested in the payable and receivables
• Exposure to inventory and the fuel industry is a plus
• PowerBi is a huge plus
GL


• Reviewing account reconciliations- such as inventory reconciliations
• Reading and understanding contracts
• Storage and transportation contracts- make sure they are correctly set up in the system
• CPA- had in the technical accounting side
Settlements

• Organizing and coordinating with front office to review invoices
Project team

• Accounting project
• Report writing
• Data analytics - margin report
