Description
C/A Psychiatry, Northern, Virginia, Outpatient and Residential treatment openingThe position duties include direct patient care of patients in their Residential Treatment and Outpatient programs.
The workload will be 2.5 days in R.T. and 2.5 days in O.P. seeing children and adolescents ages 7-17 years with diverse psychiatric treatment issues.
Caseload coverage would be assisted by a PMHNP.
Physicians work in a collegial, supportive and caring environment working with other physicians, clinical staff and administration where there is opportunity for professional and personal growth.
Caseload and call are manageable.Fulltime employed M-F schedule.
They offer a base salary and comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice insurance, CME package, Health insurances (medical, dental, vision), PTO, Matching 401k, Relocation allowance if moving, employee stock purchase plan.
The Facility
This is a residential treatment, Outpatient and Inpatient Acute Behavioral Health facility for children and adolescents.
The facility offers general and specialty treatment programs for males and females in addition to a Special Education program.
All programs are staffed by trained clinicians in a multidisciplinary treatment care environment under the direction of the Child Psychiatrist.
The Area:
Located just 33 miles West-Northwest of Washington, DC at the northwest terminus of Dulles Greenway.
This area has undergone much growth over the last 5-10 years and is considered a suburban bedroom community for commuters to the National Capital.
The community is home to a diverse education system, residential areas and stable businesses including major corporations, aviation, government entities, high-tech and legal offices, retail and restaurants.
The area is full of history, culture and arts.
